CALLED TO SEEK THE WELLBEING OF ALL
Your voice.
Your neighbor.
Your vote.
In baptism, we are called to love and serve our neighbors. Informed participation in civic life, including voting, is one way we live out that calling.
AS YOU PREPARE TO VOTE, CONSIDER:
- What will promote the well-being of all?
- How will these choices affect our most vulnerable neighbors?
- Is the information guiding me accurate and trustworthy?

“God is all-powerful in that only God is the source of all power. God’s power alone brings forth and sustains the universe, redeems the sinner, and promises creation’s ultimate fulfillment.
In God’s activity toward the well-being of all, we encounter a use of power that is unlike many human practices of power.”
From the ELCA Social Statement “Faith and Civic Life: Seeking the Wellbeing of All”
